Overview of Tuition Steps and Support.Envelopes

Notes:

Parent Envelopes and Jolly Joker Envelopes can be prepared well in advance and given to the Starter a year ahead if necessary!

The 'Senior Envelope' is a special case you will only need to prepare for this if a Senior DFer contacts you well in advance.

Extra information may be put in the envelopes (e.g. a map showing paths, bridges, car parks etc.) but of course you can only add this content if you know the detail of your site when you produce any help envelopes.  If you do add extra content please don't forget to include the information described here so that novices know what to expect and get used to using it.

Please read through the Novice help sheet, so you are aware of what Novices have been told, it uses the same colour coding as these pages.

Don't forget, the best event for introducing one of your friends to DF is the one you are running.

Accepting beginners on your event does require more preparation, probably an extra 30 mins at the planning stage. I am well aware that some of us have other commitments, if you can't spare the time just advertise your event as 'For Experts Only'.
