done Ian for inventing triffids what a b...............*! Thanks to Peter for running the event at short notice - good one. Picture and note from the man himself: The only picture from the event ( the official photographer was away) This is an overflow weir from the old reservoir. The mini was located upstream on the river Peb which until the dam gave way in 1920 would have meant the triffid would have been under several feet of water ! Yes - there was water ..... and mud ...... and nettles ....... and brambles ........ and f......* ......... * ....... rustration. |
